Where your music lives
before anyone hears it
Northwest Falls stores your masters, keeps every version straight, and gives you one private link to send when someone asks to hear something.
14 day free trial. Cancel any time. Your files stay yours.
A drive failed in 2023 and I lost about four years of sessions. What survived was spread across Dropbox, an old laptop, and a chat thread where I had sent myself rough mixes at 2am.
I built this to have somewhere better to put my own music. Every producer I know has a version of the same shoebox.
You know which one is final. Probably.
Most independent artists run a whole career out of folders and chat apps. It works until it does not, and then a record is simply gone.
Your masters, kept as you made them
A WAV goes in and comes back identical. We do not re-encode it, normalise it, or strip your metadata.
Nothing is touched
Your original file is stored byte for byte. Streaming uses a small separate copy we make alongside it, so the master is never the thing being played.
Private unless you say so
There is no browse page and no discovery feed. Not as a setting you turn off. It does not exist. Music becomes reachable only when you make a link.
Checks before you send it out
Sample rate, bit depth and true peak on every upload. We tell you a track will clip on streaming platforms before a mastering engineer charges you to.
Never upload the same file twice
Drop in a master you already have and we recognise it. No transfer, no duplicate, nothing taken out of your storage.
Credits that stay attached
Producer, engineer, featured artist, splits. Written down the day the track exists, not reconstructed from memory two years later.
Yours to take back
Export everything whenever you want, without asking us. Every master exactly as you uploaded it, plus your metadata in a file you can read.
Every mix, in order
A track is one thing with a history, not five files with confusing names.
- Upload a new mix and it becomes v6. The old ones stay exactly where they were.
- One version is marked current. That is the one people hear.
- Change your mind and put v3 back in one click.
- Each version keeps its own notes, so you remember what changed.
One link. Nothing else attached.
Send a track to a label or a friend without granting access to a folder, and without them needing an account.
- Unfurls properly in Discord, iMessage and Slack with your artwork and title.
- Add a passcode, or an expiry date, or a view limit.
- Download is off by default. They can listen without keeping the file.
- See how many people opened it and whether they finished the track.
- Revoke it and the link is dead everywhere, immediately.
Never indexed. Never listed. The link is the key.
Demos without the Google Form
A submission page on your own domain, with your branding. Every submission arrives with real audio and a real artist profile behind it.
One inbox
Rating, status and private notes on every demo. Set an auto decline after 30 days so nobody is left waiting on an answer that never comes.
Your domain
demos.yourlabel.com, your logo, your colours. Artists see your page, not ours.
Cover your roster
Pay for your artists' seats. They keep their own account and their own catalogue, including everything they uploaded while signed to you.
You do not need to build or host any of this. No form to maintain, no inbox rules, no storage bill, no site to keep online. Point a subdomain at us and the whole intake runs itself.
An artist's work is never the label's property here. Roster access is a permission the artist grants and can withdraw on their own, without the label agreeing. Ending it removes access and deletes nothing. That rule is written into the database, not only into the terms.

Questions worth asking
You can export everything at any time without asking us. Every master exactly as you uploaded it, plus your metadata in a readable file. If we ever wind down we commit to 90 days of notice with exports open the whole time. Storing your career somewhere that could hold it hostage would defeat the point of the thing.
No. Masters are written to storage byte for byte and come back identical. Streaming uses a small separate copy generated alongside the original. Your file is never the one being played and never the one being modified.
Yes. There is no public catalogue, no browse page and no feed. The only way anything becomes reachable is if you create a link, and those pages carry no-index headers with about 60 bits of randomness in the address. Streaming audio is served from a separate storage bucket that the public server has no access to at all, so a bug there cannot reach a master.
No. A label funding your seat gets whatever visibility you granted and nothing more. You can withdraw that yourself, instantly, without their approval. If the arrangement ends you move to the free plan and keep every file you uploaded. Files over the free limit become read-only rather than being deleted.
European accounts are held in EU jurisdiction storage and stay there. Your region is set from where you sign up and is never moved without telling you.
New uploads stop. Nothing already stored is deleted, and everything stays playable and downloadable. We email you at 85 percent so it is never a surprise mid-upload. You can add 250 GB for €8 a month, or move up a plan. The same is true if you downgrade: going to a smaller plan never deletes anything, it only pauses new uploads.
Up to 2 GB per file, which covers a long piece at 24-bit and 96 kHz. Large uploads are sent in chunks and resume from where they stopped if your connection drops, so a lost minute does not cost you the whole transfer.
